Clubs and programs
If you are a coach or volunteer with experience in any sport, the committee would love to hear from you. Good programs bring the children and families along.
Haven Tennis Club
Twelve concrete courts with great viewing, plenty of parking, a fenced lawn and a playground. The club celebrated its centenary in 2021 and has a strong junior program. The council has received a grant to light all twelve courts, opening the way for new night tennis programs.
Soccer
A fully irrigated, maintained grass field for a full-sized soccer field behind the primary school, plus a new activities field. Soccer is part of the council's master plan for the Haven reserve.
Cricket
Cricket is planned as part of the future multi-use sports hub, with a local club set to relocate to Haven once the new fields are ready. The move is likely a couple of years away.
Netball
A full-sized court is available to use for now. Once the tennis courts are upgraded to regional standard, netball lines will no longer be permitted, so this is an interim arrangement.
Hockey
The reserve has a fully irrigated, maintained grass field directly behind the Haven Primary School. Hockey isn't part of the master plan for the reserve, but the field is available to use in the meantime.
Horsham Dog Obedience Club
The club has settled into its home at the reserve, with training sessions held on Sunday mornings. New participants are welcome to come along.
Horsham Golf Club
One of the best golf courses in Victoria and Australia, and a popular venue for weddings and conferences. The reception centre overlooks the course.
